- Silently read this example of a sense of place essay (it does not have environmental ethic or energy production, but it is an example of how to SHOW the reader your ideas rather than tell them)
- React to the story: What is good? What is bad? What type of sense of place do each of the four vignettes try to show? What is the final message of the story?
- Class discussion of reactions to the story.
- Small group station activity: We'll get through 2 stations today.

- Print refined essay, mount on construction paper AND email Ashley a copy of your final essay. I will bring your essay to exhibition
- Artist Statement: Print and mount your final artist statement AND email Ashley a copy. I'll bring it to exhibition.
- Mount your visual piece if you need to for exhibition display
- Visual Piece is due at exhibition. Please bring it with you to exhibition.
